We have built up a team of volunteers with a fantastic range of experience, who are helping us in all sorts of ways. We’ve done a lot so far, but there’s loads more to do and we need you to help us make the vision a reality.
Be part of this amazing project – develop your skills, meet new people, take part in the ongoing discussion about how the Library should develop, and make a difference to your neighbourhood. There are so many things we can do with your ideas and help.
We are looking for regular, committed volunteers to help run our friendly and welcoming Library – even if you can only manage one three-hour session a month we’d love to hear from you.
We have many different roles and areas, please take a look at the list below for a few examples:
- Be part of our team of friendly rota volunteers who manage the library and the support the public when the library is open.
- Children’s activities volunteers, helping out with our regular events for children such as Bounce and Rhyme, Storytime and Homework Club.
Behind the scenes
- Shelving and sorting
- Social media
If you think you have time or skills that you can contribute, then fill out your contact details below, and the Library Development Worker will get in touch with you to discuss how you might be able to help and the next steps if you decide you would like to join the team. We will hold all of your information securely.
